Fishing as a Family
Family-oriented talaya casting campaign that preserves and revitalizes talaya casting through hands-on learning and sustainability education
Goals include strengthening family connections, passing cultural knowledge to youth, promoting sustainable fishing, and building pride and resilience
Includes six family-oriented clinics scheduled from February to December 2025
Participation is limited to 12 families, and families completing the curriculum receive a talaya
Definition of family is flexible, with at least one adult and one child or youth, and up to four participants per family
